I have an intel P2 400, The soundcard is attached to the motherboard, and I have purchased a better soundcard, but I do not know how to disable the current one in order to install the new sound card. I am not sure what type of motherboard it is, but the case is open and I'm hoping someone can help. |

well, if you look at the manual, it will tell you whether it needs a jumper, or a bios adjustment to diable the sound. some, you can do it in both places. |
