I have a MS-6385 Motherboard with a P4 1.3Gig CPU. I have 2 64MB RDRAM Rimms in two of the four slots. I was wondering if I could put any other type of ram in the other two slots, seeing as RDRAM is so expensive? Would the board support SDRAM? PLease help. Morrowind is running a bit slow. Thanks.

No mixing of RDRAM and DIMMS allowed on this board unfortunately. So you have to use more Registered DRAM to populate the other slots in pairs of course. 2 64's =128. 2 128's =256 and so on.

Pants. That sucks. I've heard that RDRAM isn't going to be produced anymore. And it's so annoyingly expensive. Bugger it. I'll stick with 128 and just cellotape a Turbo booster on the back. That just may do the trick. Cheers for the help.

Where did you here RDRAM not being produced anymore? The newest spec for P4 is 533 FSB and as far as I know RDRAM and DDR are the 2 memories to support it.
