I need a circuit diagram or service manual for a Digital brand monitor (a PCXBV-FY) and Google turned up nothing useful.Compaq bought out Digital and now HP own them so it's impossible to turn up any info from there.

My problem is this,
The monitor gets its power from the PC and when I power up the PC I see nothing on the monitor but I hear a regular and rapid 'ticking' from within the monitor.
I only located one internal fuse and it's OK. The power switch on the monitor doesn't make a very convincing 'click' and the power LED does not light.
The PC works fine with all my other monitors and all the cables seem to be seated securely.
I just bought this at an auction (ex-govt. stock) so have never used it before and could not test it out at the sale.
Any ideas?

I haven't been able to find anything on your monitor, but I do have a question. Why do you want to fix a monitor? When used monitors are fairly cheap to buy and most likely would cost less than trying to fix one.

I have the same monitor, and am also seeking a schematic.. My problem is that the picture is really dull or dim... when you increase the contrast it gets brighter, but even fully up its not how it should be.. Plus, it becomes blurry when the controls are fully up... :)
