I have several Win 95 computers that I was cleaning off (i.e. deleting old files, etc.). Everything worked fine and then when I moved the computer to where it was supposed to be, it went fuzzy. I can barely see everything going on in the background. I tried to boot up in Safe Mode, but there was a security program called Fortres on the computer which won't allow the boot up menu, therefore I can't get to the safe mode and I can't do anything once windows comes up. I can see the Windows 95 splash screen just fine, but once that leaves and Windows tries to open, that's when the problem occurs. |

Assuming, after you deleted old files, the computer was rebooted and everything was fine and it was just the move that made the difference. I would suggest reseating the video card. It may have worked loose and the move finish the job. |
