I have tried installing a 2-port PCI card to my PCPartner VIB878DS motherboard with AMD-K6-2/3000 under Windows 98. All the drivers appear to load ok but when restarting and checking the Device Manager I get an exclamation mark against the USB root hub. In the properties I get: The ntkern.vxd device loaders for this device could not load the device driver. Reinstalling the drivers seems to have no effect. I have tried the internet but although the question has been raised a few times there seems to be no satisfactory answer. Hope somebody can help me.
