Was recently introduced to a program that would identify the hardware without even opening the computer (assuming the computer is running).

The website to visit is http://www.belarc.com. There, you can download a software that after installation, you can run it to generate a webpage. It will even identify the programs installed, versions there of, hotfixes, and so on. However, I have already seen how it will identify conveniently, and yet be unable to identify some items.
