I just recently purchased a Makopad PC by Interact and it's not showing up as connected. I also have a Gravis Thunderbird, which does the same thing. The MS Sidewinder Gamepad I bought a few months ago works fine. Runs great, but I want to use the analog that the Makopad has. system: PII 300 176 MB Ram ATI Rage 8MB VooDoo2 12MB Diamond Monster Sound Card those are the highlights. Any suggestions appreciated. t_mcelroy25@hotmail.com |

Best I can suggest is to update your drivers to the latest ones. I had trouble with my Interact V4 Force Feedback wheel (Force feedback would stop in-game) with my Soundblaster Live! Value until I updated the drivers of both the Steering Wheel and the Soundcard. My system: PII-350 128MB PC-100 SDRAM 3Dfx Voodoo3 3000 Soundblaster Live! Value Windows 98 with DirectX7.0 (used to have a Soundblaster AWE 64, until I discovered that my MS Sidewinder 3D Pro couldn't be detected under Win98 even with the latest drivers - changing to the new SB Live! solved that problem) |
