I so recently got a Dell dimension 4100 desktop pc from a friend, when i recived it the motherboard was lifted off the holders and slid out of place and the medal part that screw into the pc of the video card was bent, the people who shipped it to me didnt pack it in foam but instead in bubble rap so it got damaged in the move.
When i turn it on ,it starts up and all the fans start, but theres no image on the monitor, its just black, theres a little light on the MB and it lights up, there are also four little lights on the back that are supposed to light up but they dont do anything, and the lights on the front dont light up either, and there are no beeps from the comp at all, i even tried running the comp with just the cpu,( cause it wont turn on with out the cpu installed) and there were still no beeps.....so we had the company send us another MB thinking that was the problem, well i installed it and same problem.....now is this the powers upply or the cpu or ram, cause were thinking its the power supply, but i had no clue that even though the power supply comes on and the fans spins that it still can cause problems like mine, is this true?

Probably not a Power supply problem, more than likely a CPU Problem.
