the pie chart is blue and it says free space 0 and used space 0 and available space 0. I cannot format floppies or create rescue disks, etc. What can I do to correct this? Thank you. |

other than bad floppies. it may be a bad floppy drive. |

Hi Win, I went through a new box of floppies and even when I go into My Computer and right click and select properties it shows the drive is full when there is no floppy in it. OS 98SE. Is that any help? |

try replacing the floppy drive. i had a few situations like that from cheap floppy drives i'd bought from an unmentioned retail store. i will say the one's i bought from fry's electronics are still working fine. better quality. |

if you're in california, you can go to sacramento on northgate off I-80, there's another on in san jose. they now have an online store at www.outpost.com. i use the teac 1.44 internal floppy drive. |
