I've just installed a new Soltek SL75 FRV motherboard with an Athlon xp1900 processor. The problem is the bios says the cpu temp is 70+ degrees, despite trying 2 new coolers the latest being a very expensive coolermaster heat pipe. Sisoft sandra also reports that the motherboard temperature is too high. I've checked all jumpers and settings, checked cpu set up fsb etc, and several different thermal pastes but nothing seems to help.

Sisoft results can be errant. The best way to check Mobo and CPU Temps is with Motherboard Monitor. http://mbm.livewiredev.com/
