On Sunday, I used my computer and it ran fine. It is a newer Windows 98 SE machine. I tried to turn it on yesterday and found that the power switch had been pushed in, so I took off the front cover (not the side panels) and fixed it. However, when I plugged everything (monitor, power, mouse, keyboard, etc.) back in, the monitor wouldn't come on. When I have the monitor unplugged from the machine, the monitor light is green, just as soon as I plug in the monitor, the light goes orange and won't come on. I tried plugging in another monitor to the cpu and got the same result. Any ideas? |

well, have you tried another vid card? you might have accidently dislodged the card. check that all cards and memory are seated properly. |

They are not cards, they are all just attached the motherboard. I checked everything inside and it's all tightly fitting. |
