Hello. I have an old Acer Aspire mobo w pmmx 233 processor. The system used a strange propietary AT like power supply that does not have the normal AT psu switch but instead an aditional 3 cables Black-White-Red in a connector that goes into the Standby power connector. I think the psu is supposed to go ON when grounding the White output but my supply will only start a bit and then shut itself down again, the fan spins a little bit and stops, and the voltages wont reach nominal output. So , anybody has info on this PSU ? Any help ? |

Proprietary yes, AT Form factor possibly, most likely Acer's Hybrid Power supply. Does the Motherboard have an LPX style rizer slot with PCI and ISA slots by any chance? |

Cool, did you have to modify it in any way? |

lol. No, everything is as from factory w p mmx 233 MHz, I was given the system and the owner never returned. If I manage to fix the old psu I wont need to make a hole in the case for a regular AT switch. |
