hello! i recently bought an NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX 440 SE agp graphics card. the problem is when i plugged my monitor into the card, the screen goes blank. i have changed my display to a standard pci graphics adapter but still it doesn't work. i assume that the computer still thinks that i'm using my onboard sis 630/730 graphics adapter. can someone please tell me how to disable it? |

Generally, when installing the card in the agp slot automatically disables the onboard video, you may have check for compatability with the motherboard manufacturer. |

You need to go to my computer and remove/disable the onboard graphic card and then remove the drivers. shut down the pc and insert the new card and follow the instructions on the screen. |

i have this card, too. you ought to reinstall or download a new version of the driver, check the card connections to the motherboard.generally, its a physical problem. |
