i have a sis agp 4X slot. i recently bought a geforce 4 440 MX SE with an agp 8X. can my agp slot support this graphics card? |

most 8x cards will fall back to 4x when used in a 4x slot. But for safety sake, verify it with the manufacturer of the vid card. |

I have win xp running on a p4 machine.i have a nvidia vanta 16mb vram agp card installed. i replaced it with an nvidia tnt2 agp card and windows did not load even on safe mode.next i replaced my old card and now it gives me the same error message.it appears that there is some problem while loading the driver.WHAT SHOULD I DO?????????
