I`m hoping to upgrade my memory for my old (ancient) asus board. It has a bus speed of 66mhz. Unfortunately these memory sticks are becoming hard to come by or expensive. Does anyone know if these boards would accept a pc100 stick? I understand some boards will accept the pc100 and just drag the new memory down to run at 66mhz? Hope someone can enlighten me on this one. Thanks. |

PC100 will work on this board just make sure it is of low density type (double sided doesn't always guarantee low density) and is unbuffered. Micron makes memory that will work with the intel TX and BX chipset. |
