yo, can any of u guys help me? i got a case with a window in the side which let me see a giant spark fly from my power supply just before it went dead. i took my chances in hoping it was just the psu and it had not blown the motherboard. i bought a new 400 watt psu with dual fans. what happens. that blows up as well. now the problem is. how do i find out what is other component is blowing the psu , without blowing another one? thanks for your help guys

Check your motherboard for grounding problem perhaps a mainboard direct to computer case type of short.

My computer won't boot
While I was booting up my Compaq computer, I saw a spark and my computer went dead. I tried to boot up again but my CPU won't even start. I am not a technical person and does not know how to fix this. Help!!!

Power supply probably went out, and quite possibly took the motherboard and drives with it. Get them checked out.
