I have a Compaq Presario hard drive, 30 gig, 128mg ram, windows mellinium operating system, mitsubishi monitor, with open usb ports in the front of my hard drive. I have a Fuji Fine Pix 1300 digital camera. I have gone on the internet and downloaded the latest driver for my camera from the Fuji web site. Additionally, I have downloaded UC-Autocam software from the internet today 6-29-03. As you have probably surmised by now, I have lost my operating instructions containing the troubleshooting tips. All this being said, here's my problem. I keep getting an error message when i execute the auto-capture option saying "Connect USB or insert card". I have tried every conceievable senario and no luck, the same error message appears. My camera displays the USB on the back of the display screen as it should. The camera has brand new Duracell batteries in it. I don't know whatelse to do. Can anybody out there give me some clue as to what has happened. I might mention, the card says that it is full, and, it is, you can see the pictures in the camera on the playback screen. I thank anyone who can help for their time, as I too am always needing more time. Again, thank you.

First thing to check is the USB port's, the easiest way to do this is connect a USB mouse to it. If the mouse isn't working than your issue is with the computer and not the camera and we can go from there.
