Is there any way to verify if my mobo is utilizing the dual channel DDR function that ASUS likes to advertise? With the last BIOS update,, I now get a post that states "Memory speed 133 mhz - dual channel mode". Interesting, but I don't see any performance difference........

Also, in the BIOS, there are settings for memory timing. With the previous BIOS version, there was an option for "SYNC" that made the DDR function at the same speed as the FSB. Since the flash, that setting has been replaced by a series of percentages. It is currently at 100 % - which I am assuming is 133 MHZ (FSB speed). Should it be set to 200% to make use of the Double Data Rate ?

Mobo: A7N8X Deluxe rev 1.4
CPU: AMD XP1800+ - Palomino
DDR: Kingston VR DDR 2700
OS: WIN XP Home

Tks,
Matt

The tests Preferred are memory benchmarks from SISOFT SANDRA with Dual channel enabled and than disabled. What I have noticed in most DC DDR platforms is when memory intensive applications are run than you will notice the difference, such as Zipping up a huge file or video editing.
