Could someone help me?
I recently bought a computer with what i think is a cmi 8738 pci sound pro sound card that came bundled with an audio rack called gamut98 which is a cdplayer midi player and more. it works but nothing else does. when i start up microsoft cdplayer or real jukebox or any other program that plays cda files they seem to run (the seconds tick away on the player) but no sound comes out. all other sounds play however i.e. ms mediaplayer or realjukebox when playing mp3's. in multimedia playback i don't have microsoft sound system. what can i do? |

Check your basics first. Make sure that there aren't two output's on the back of your sound card. If there is try switching them around. Also check your volume control. You could have somethings turned down or muted. Next would be to download the updated drivers. Windrivers (www.windrivers.com) should have your driver. Hope this helps |
