I have to send my laptop (Toshiba/Tecra 8100)in for some upgrades and want to make sure the IT department is not able access any old files off my hardware. Is their a way to erase them without IT knowing? I did not want to have to purchase something like CyberScrub. I have Windows 98 for my software. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
