I'm setting up a computer classroom with 8 work stations and want to surge protect the entire circuit. That is, put a device in-line between the circuit breaker box and the circuit. Can this be done and if so, how and with what?

I use a SOLA 305, 600VA unit that also has battery backup in case of power failure. I lost it all because of lightning and replacement cost was high. The unit cost me $300 and has worked very well in three lightning storms since because I don't lose data. It give me 30 minutes to finish tasks if necessary. Ron
