Can any body point out where I can find information regarding "How to Install New buy PC"
This PC is hadrware installed & tested only.

It doesn't have any software installed.
And the Haddisk itself is not formatted yet.

The first thing your going to need is a bootdisk. If it's new then you probably got one. You need to make sure you hardisk is partitioned. You can do this by typing "fdisk" at the prompt that comes up after you boot from the bootdisk. A screen will probably come up asking if you a yes or no question. Answer yes. When your there you can view the currant partitions. If there aren't any then you need to create one. Make it the maximum size available.

After that you will have to reboot your computer. Make sure the bootdisk is still in when you do and you'll come back up to the screen you were at before. Now type "format c:" It'll ask you if you really want to. Just say yes and it will format. After it's done it will ask you if you want to name it something. Just leave it blank by pressing enter.

Now hopefully your bootdisk has cdrom drivers on it. If it's a windows 98 bootdisk then try switching to the E drive by typing "E:" at the prompt. If it's not the use the letter D instead. If it says "invalid drive specification" then your cdrom is not setup and you will have to get a cdrom setup disk and run it. If it goes to the drive letter then type the word setup after you put your windows disk in the cdrom drive. From there you should be able to follow the onscreen instructions and install windows.

I would do all of this first and then if something isn't working right then post another message.
hopefully this helps
