Processor Blown up?

hello, my computer has stopped working on me. when i press on the power button, it does not respond. before the computer shut down, it was operating really slowly. could it be that my processor has blown up? how could i have blown the processor, becuase i did delete some files from MS DOS? thank you..

Deleting files should not keep your pc from booting into BIOS... Do any lights come on @ all??if not I suspect your power supply dumped on you.. It can make your machine slow to respond/ hang if the output voltages vary. i.e.12v/5v.. Id check there first.If no lights @ all ,, all is dead get a used 1.
