I have a P4 1.7Ghz processor and a couple of other slots at 400/533mhz FSB. Instead of getting rid of my cpu and getting a one over 2GHz which is pretty expensive, can i just buy a 500mhz chip and insert that with the 1.7? |

On dual processor boards you have to run 2 of the same type and speed cpu's (stepping of CPU's is also important) I haven't seen any Dual Processor boards for the P4, other than Zeon based, what model board do you have? |
