DVD ROM not recognizing burned disk

I created a back up of my old computer on a cd and i can't get my new computer to recognize it. I would appreciate suggestions

I am not sure if this will work, but if you burned it onto a CD-RW, you should install a driver that will allow your cd drive to "read" the disk.
I can't remember where I downloaded it, but I have a copy of it. I usually install this small driver onto all of my computers where I am going to use cd-r and cd-rw's

I found it. Goto www.adaptec.com and locate their
UDF Drivers for Win95/98/NT.

This is a realy small utility for multi-read cd drives that allows them to read to CD-R/CD-RW formats.
