I have a digimax 200 samsung digital camera, I went to use it yesterday and the flash is refusing to work, It still takes the pictures like it always did but I have no flash, so all the pictures are incredibly dark. My only option thus far is sending it to NJ to be fixed and I know I wont get it back in time for xmas. Soooo bummed over this. Can I replace the flash myself? Does anyone have a better solution? |

According to Samsung there are no user serviceable parts in the camera, the flash part is hi-lux halogen so finding a suitable replacement will probably be very dificult as the camera itself is discontinued. What you can do is purchase an inexpensive ultra bright flood light for backlighting as a temp solution through the Holidays and send it in after. |
