I can't decide between the Sony GRT-816S or a Dell Inspiron 5150 custom build.
The main things I need to know is, what is the difference between the Nvidia Geforce FX Go 5200 and the Nvidia Geforce FX Go 5600 and what benefit does a processor with Hyper-threading offer.
Also are Sony and Dell good companies for laptops?

The Geforce FX5600 GO is the faster of the 2 mobile video chips. Hyperthreading is seen by some Operating systems (WIN2K and XP) as Dual CPU. Advantages right now are only seen in applications that can take advantage of the technology such as some video editting and burning softwares. Sony and Dell make good Laptop and Notebook PC's as does many other manufacturers.
