Hello, I'm having a few problems with my new computer setup after upgrading few days ago. I upgraded my motherboard, processor and RAM. The installation seemed to go fine. I had to format my hard-drive and reinstall windows XP pro. this is my setup after upgrading.

Quantum Fireball 60gig HD
Radeon 9600pro 128 mb 8xAGP
AMD Athlon "barton" 2600+
two sticks ofCorsair XMS c2 pc3200 (512mb each)
ASUS A7N8X-v2.0motherboard
420 Watt PSU
1 DVD-rom drive and a CD-R drive

ok my problems are.
I get some random crashes in Unreal 2 expanded multiplayer, to the desktop.

My system re-boots randomly sometimes. Not to often though, but often enough.

I get a error with internet explorer. The bug report window will pop up sometimes and I am forced to close internet explorer.

ALSO another problem

If I change my IDE cable from my hard-drive to my mobo, my system wont even boot (no post beep and no visual on screen). Even if i use the same cable after unplugging, and plugging it back in again, I have to reset my CMOS memory and then it will work. What is the stinkin problem???????

if you need to know anything else lemme know. Thankyou.

First find out why the system reboots. Go into control panel and uncheck the automatically restart on system error under system>advanced>startup and recovery. When the reboot happens instead of a restart the system will bluescreen with the error and we can trace it down to the problem, usually memory or driver related. The IDE thing is perplexing, I would suspect a bad or intermittent cable at this point, or noisy IDE channel.
