I have an XP home machine which has developed a strange fault - the display is wobbly. That is, large parts of it wobble left and right, creating vertical sine waves about 0.5 cm high, at about 3-5Hz. Small patches of screen are unaffected. It's not the monitor - could it be the video card, or what? Hugh |

If its a PNY Geforce4 4200, 4400, etc. It could very well be the video card. There was a batch of these cards from PNY with bad capacitors (purple board)and PNY and Nvidia are replacing them as long as you have the original sales slip. |
