My video card worked just fine till I upgraded to XP Pro. Now the drivers won't install properly, and seem to hang up at around 10% of instalation. The Device Manager says that the card won't start, and gives an error code of 10.
I have tried new drivers, old drivers, Jaton drivers, drivers for my sis chipset,(first), even took it out and put it back in. Any suggestions besides throw it out or go back to Win 98?

Did you do an upgrade to xp pro or a clean/full install with the upgrade disk?
If you upgraded to xp from 98 there might be lingering 98 drivers or settings that need to be dealt with. It's a common problem as not everyones systems are identical in configuration.

I did a clean install with the upgrade disk. Turns out somthing in my bios was not getting along with xp. I reset the bios to the setup configuration, lo and behold, there was my video card. Re- formated and installedxp again with the bios in that position, will tweak later.(Maybe) should I use the factory driver fron Jaton, or the new ones from nvidea?

We sell Jaton Cards where I work and have had no issues using Nvidia's drivers with them.
Glad you got the BIOS sorted out.
