Hi. I have a Windows 2000 Server that I am connecting to create a home network. I only have one other machine (Win 98) and I am not using a hub, switch, router, etc. What is the correct order of the wires within the cable? I know the correct order for a standard cable, but I am not sure about a computer-to-computer cable. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!
E.S.

I tried this method of the crossover cable, however, I cannot get the machines to talk. They both have NIC's which are installed correctly w/ drivers, but they won't talk. Any ideas on what to try now?
