I have recently installed the Pinnacle Studio DC10+ video capture board in my PC, however, on power up, the new hardware is NOT detected i.e. no Hardware Wizard appears. I have tried "Add Hardware" function with no success.

Have attempted to seek assistance from Pinnacle website with NO success. I have tried everything and can only assume that the problem is IRQ/BIOS settings or incompatible chipset - yes, I have tried ALL PCI slots. I have also removed all previous capture software.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Have you tried the card in another computer? Just to rule out that it may be faulty.

Also, have you run the add new hardware autodetect in the control panel, sometimes that may find it where the boot up probe missed it.

Or you can manually specify the IRQ for the specific PCI Slot you want to use in your system BIOS. Try this and then running the add new hardware program.

Good luck.
