When I listen to a CD for backround music the sound starts to "skip". I've experienced this on a regular CD recorder and a light dusting of the CD head solves the problem. Short of dismanteling my C drive, which I am afraid to do, do I have other options? A friend said retail head cleaner discs rarly do the job well. I am working with Windows 98 on a Dell computer.

Sometimes just a blow off into the open tray compartment with a can of compressed air is all thats required to get dust out of the cdrom drive.
