Running a Sony Vaio PCV-RX560 with windows XP. No installation done recently except for plugging in of new wireless keyboard and mouse via USB a couple days ago. COmputer power light flashes for about a second then turns off fan does not seem to go on. I do not think the motherboard is going on but will check. Want to know what I have to do to fix this. Thanks. |

It's probably the power supply or motherboard. A quick check by disconnecting the hard drive cdrom and floppy drives power cables than try a power up would eliminate a drive causing the problem. |
