When I switch on the computer, nothing displays on my monitor. The CPU has the drive lights showing, and the fans are running, but after a few seconds, still with nothing on the screen, a beeping starts. The beeps come around half a second apart and each lasts about a second. After 6 beeps or so, it stops and nothing else happens. If anyone could identify the problem it would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

My brand new computer is having a similar problem. I power it on and then after about 1 second of power ( the fans running and lights on) the computer beeps non stop until i power it off. Nothing appears on the monitor, and i have not attempted to install an operating system yet. I have a format hard drive only. I was thinking something wasnt connected on the inside, becuase i did connect some things. Can someone please help me. |
