I purchased a Umax Vista VT-600 Scanner and a UDS-IS10 SCSI adapter and am running Windows 95. I have recently had a disk crash and cannot find the diskettes to do the reinstall. The two diskettes I need are "UMAX Scanner Driver Disk" and "UMAX UDS-IS10 SCSI Driver for Windows 95. If anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it. |

download the s6e driver. from what i could find, this should work with the scsi card. i don't know if the same d/l includes the drivers for the scanner, but i couldn't find those, specifically. i think it's called "vistascan software". just d/l for the s6e and see if it works. |

Trish and Win; Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I downloaded the S6E software and installed it. From that I was able to determine that the UDSIS10 card was bad. I also had a Future Domain card (TMC-1680) which I then installed, added the ASPI manager software, and reran the custom setup for Vistascan. It is now working like a charm with Imagefolio (doesn't work with MS Frontpage). After a couple of months of struggle I'm now able to get images into my system. Trish, thanks for your reply and maintaining this site. I sent the same Email to Umax that I sent to you on 21 Feb and have gotten Zero response. Guess they are more concerned with sales than support. Thanks, Bob |
