Hi,
Was looking at photos on my computer and my tower just went dead, no noise, no warning...nutting!
There is no power to the tower at all. Tried changing the plug fuse first (obviously) then bought a new power cable. Even the fan doesn't work. Is there an internal fuse inside the computer and would I be able to check that for myself first?
Bit short of cash to have a shop sort it out at the moment.
Also, have I lost all my piccys and things if it's not please?

9 times out of 10 the power supply has failed and the words "no user servicable parts inside" comes to mind unless you know a thing or 2 about how switching powersupply units work and ATX/AT form factor.
