Ok, following situation, I had to replace my old GC as it had suddendly died on my, and I'm now the owner of a Sparkle GForce 6800 GT.

However the card suddendly stops working after a couple of hours - the monitor reports "no signal" and switches off, but e.g. sound keeps playing normally for a while.
I have already tried to replace to Mainboard and run diagnostics for the RAM modules (Memtest) which seemed to be error-free.
I have also updated all mainboard and GC drivers to most recent versions.
The problem seems to occurr no matter the load of the PC - sometime it crashes out of a 3D game, but it also crashes over night when there is nothing running.

I'm out of ideas - maybe you have some more possiblities?

(System configuration:
CPU: AMD 2800+ XP
Mainboard: K7N2 Delta 2 Platinum
GPU: Sparkle GeForce 6800 GT (256MB, DDR3, 8x AGP)
OS: Windows XP Sp 2 (with recent updates applied)
Antivirus & Firewall: Zonealarm & Up to Date AntiVir
