i am getting a error code #2 when trying to install modem and soundblaster card both are pc slots both have been tried in my other computer was told that code 2 means that it is a bios problem trying to recognize two busses at once question is how do i flash bios

i have a gigabyte 2000 motherboard with dual bios

First of all unzip the new bios file and utility to a bootable floppy disk. I have visited gigabytes websight many times and they have many warnings every where about flashing the bios on your mainboard. If you do not do it correctly the first time you probably won't get a second chance, If this makes you uncomfortable than take the board to a computer shop and have them do it. Most good shops will have an eprom burner to make a backup of your bios in case there is a problem. Hope this helps.
