I upgraded the memory on my boss's sharp pc9020 laptop and ran phdisk. Once I ran phdisk I could no longer boot up from either the c drive or the a drive. Sharp support told me that phdisk does not work on harddrives that were not make by sharp and that I would either have to put the harddrive in another laptop or connect the harddrive to my PC to reformat it. I put the harddrive in two other laptops and they would not boot either. How can I connect the harddrive to my PC?

We are using an adapter from Antec. More information on this product can be found at:

Using Windows 98 on our systems, it installs very easily and works very well. We got it to work under Windows 95 but it took some time.
