If I call the local bank and get the time, then set my PC to that time, it will have slowed down by 10 minutes within a couple of days. Whats the deal with that? A coworker suggested replacing the CMOS battery, but another coworker said that was bull: the battery is either supplying power, or it ain't. It the clock is running, it's getting juice, so it's not the battery. Who to believe? What's the answer? I need more granularity in my PC time than a quarter of an hour. |
