The system is an AOpen with 64MB ram and 2GB hd. The system starts to boot and the monitor gives me "no signal input". No beeps but the floppy drive light stays on. What can I do to get the system to work?

Floppy light staying on means the cable to it is on backwards.

Your video card is also not initializing, because there is also something else wrong with the system, or the video card is bad, or it or another card is not tight in its slot.

Many times, on older systems, if the IDE connector to the hard drive is also backwards, your video wont initialize.

Please post more information about your system if this doesnt help.

OK, like I said, post some more information.

Specifically mainboard make and model
CPU
RAM speed and quantity

I am flying blind here til you do friend.

Give me all the information you can.

I would also like to know if this is a new build, or one that died, and any other backgroud. Did you have a power outtage before it died, or a storm, etc... Maybe you moved your system.

The more information we get, the more likely we can help ;)
