I am totally computer illterate so would appreciate any help. I have a Sound Blaster card on my computer, or I DID... Used it fine for nearly a year.. Just the other day it says there was a "conflict" when I checked the device manager after being unable to detect any sound!!

Was unable to reload it after working with tech support and using the resource CD..

Is there something I can download from the Sound Blaster site that would allow me to reload the sound card??? Unfortunately, after a move to a new home, we cannot find the Sound Blaster CD.. Could I possibly order a new CD--I'd be willing to pay.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but I am unfortunately...

you give the model of the card? then i could search, or you could search the soundblaster site for the drivers.

Are you sure it's a true Sound Blaster card, or a card that emulates the Sound Blaster chip??

If the latter, downloading drivers from Creative may not help you much. I would get any information off of the card that could help us in determining the appropriate drivers for you to use.
