I'M trying to set up DVD on an
AMD K6-2-500
DFI K6BV3+ Rev A Motherboard
Trident 3D Image 9750 4MB AGP Video Card
Creative PC-DVD inlay MPEG 2 PCI Decoder Card
Aopen 3D FX ISA Sound Card
Samsung 5X DVD Drive Model SD-604
Samsung EIDE 8GB UDMA 33 Hard Drive
128 PC100 Memory
Windows 98 se
I have installed the Hardware, loaded the software, made all the connections as per instruction manual and the DVD will not work right
Any time I load a DVD Movie Disk into the DVD Driver all I get is wavy yellow lines and sound, but NO picture. I have tried various display settings and even changed BIOS setting from AUTO to PIO mode and nothing changes. Whats wrong? The machine works great except for DVD Play.

I agree with Win, that it appears to be a software issue. I have seen that video drivers and/or settings can cause similar issues as well.
