Windows 98, Paradise Pipeline 64 card problem:

I'm getting code 22 errors and the display adapter
keeps disabling. There was supposed to be a fix for this on the paradise website but the site is long gone,as well as the company. If anyone can help me find the patch or tell me how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Taken directly from a website at:
http://www.computerhope.com/help/vwd.htm

How can I fix the conflict between my keyboard (IRQ 1) and the Pipeline64 (WD 9710) video card?

To resolve this issue you must contact the Paradise BBS at (510)668-1135 and obtain the file 9710CHK.EXE. Once you have extracted this file onto your hard drive add C:\9710CHK.EXE at the beginning of your autoexec.bat.

Windows 95 is reporting error code 15 (or 22) and "Display adapter is disabled with my Pipeline 64 (WD 9710) video card.

This is another affect of the conflict with the video card and the keyboard controller (IRQ 1). See above notes on resolving this issue.

But WHERE can I get 9710CHK.EXE? Both site and BBS appear to be gone. Thanks, Steve.

First, thanks Adam for letting others know bout our site. The file 9710CHK.EXE unfortunately appears to be no longer available anywhere we have done much research in attempting to locate this file but unfortunately all results turn up empty and all our contacts with Paradise are no longer available.

If anyone happens to have this file we would be more then to happy to post it on our web site to allow other users to have access to this file. E-mail our webmasters at webmaster@computerhope.com

We will update our page to ensure other individuals are familiar with this unfortunate news.
