We're moving offices and the new space is locating in a building whose other tenant uses SatCom technology. We use a cable modem with cat5 cabling. In our present location there is a lot of electrical interference from the sheet metal shop downstairs. I was wondering if anyone knows how satellite communications affect hardwired networks.

It shouldn't affect it at all unless their Satellite points directly at your wiring. Otherwise, there should be no problem.
