I need help in "plain English". I have a HP SCANJET 4p scanner. I purchased a new Dell Dimension 800 operating Windows ME. The existing scanner card will not work. HP's VERY POOR support refers me to "ConnectCom". They have a $99 solution (915 SCSI card). Is there a more reasonable priced card, preferably to use with an existing 50 pin (scanner) to 25 pin (card) cable?.... Thanks for the help! |
