Been trying to increase memory in P200 base unit,
currently running with 48mb(2x16mb,2x8mb)tried replacing the 8mbs with 16mbs but on re-boot Win95
gets to start screen then goes direct to 'safe to shutdown now',PC runs fine if booted to DOS,POST reports correct memory e.g 64mb,have tried various combinations of simms, all ok at 32mb,all ok at 48mb but anything above this total results in the
problem mentioned above...any ideas?

check with the manufacturer of the board and find out what configuration is needed to use that amount of ram and also check to see if there is a bios update that would allow for the motherboard to recognize a larger amount.
