Have a few old Creative 2x CD-Roms and SB16 S'cards with the Creative 40 pin connectors but no
ribbon cables,have tried 40 pin IDE cables but doesn't work (have d/loaded drivers etc.) do these
CDs/S'Cards need special cables? Would like to be able to get them working to put in a few old base units that I was also.

if you're using the normal 40 pin data cables then there shouldn't be a problem. are you talking about the audio cables or the data cables? |
