I have read the Clean start article at http://hardwarehell.com/fdisk.htm and it is good as far as it goes. I have 2 hard drives, a 30GB and a 10GB. My question is, can I FDISK, format and partition both drives at the same time. What do I have to do in order to wipe both disks and reformat them. I would like to reinstall Win98 on my 30GB HD and reformat the 10 GB HD at the same time. When the 30 GB was installed the info from the 10GB HD was copied to the new HD and everything is a mess. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You have to fdisk & format seperatly . If both drives are being reconised in the bios & you want to use the 2nd one for extra storage , dont put Windows 98 on the 2nd HD . Here is a read me on dual HD's . John . http://www.pcnineoneone.com/howto/idedrv1.html |
